| - Super bad experience here. I went in to get a few things done. I had my bridal set soldered, appraised, and my Tag watch battery replaced. The lady that helped me was super sweet. She was older reminded me of my sweet grandmother. She looks like she should be retired traveling on a cruise, but I'm sure just like my grandma, she likes to keep busy and refused to stop working. Very personable, she quotes me prices and I agree to all the various prices. Bill came out to be around $420+ - I glanced at the receipt, items are listed in order and all looks right. I come in to pick up my items 2 days later and the price changed from what was on the receipt to $75.00 more.. I question it as I don't want to pay more. The individual that was helping me calsl the manager, I explain that I had an issue with being surprised with an additional charge. He said that I had agreed to the watch being polished. I agreed, but I thought it was part of what I had already being quoted and all the charges as noted on my receipt = $420.00. I told him it was in poor taste that I'm being charge an additional charge.
To me if felt like as if I went into a restaurant read the menu and my meal was $20.00 and after I eat it, the waiter says sorry it is really $50.00. That is not what was written on my receipt. Manager goes onto argue w/ me about it and then calls the lady on the phone to ask her if I had agreed to the polish of the watch. Which by the way, I had already established that I had agreed to it. She tells him she made a mistake and forgot to add it to my bill. Instead of apologizing to me for the confusion and not charging me for it, he still wanted to charge me for it and when I was firm that I was NOT going to pay for it, he proceeds to tell me he is going to take it out of the poor lady's pay. Quote "I'm going to take it out of her pay, hopefully she will learn her lesson and by making her pay for it she won't forget to charge customers next time" My blood was boiling at the nerve. I felt so sorry for her and I was upset, and told him Not only did he have poor customer service but felt sorry for his employees. I told him that I didn't appreciate him discussing w/ me his work policy as if I was going to agree to that poor treatment of the lady. I told him to his face that he had just lost a customer for his poor ethic, poor customer service and that I will never come there again.
Now I have been thinking about this poor lady and want to go buy her a gift card or something because now she is out of pocket $75.00 because she forgot. I feel terrible.
