| - Spent two nights at the Encore during the March 2016 USA Sevens Rugby Sevens tournament. Our king suite was beautifully appointed with a large bathroom. Deducted a star for no coffee in the room but if they provided that we would not be able to spend $20 for room service coffee. The pool was heated at 85 degrees (early March), large enough to actually swim, plenty of towels available. We did not partake of the spa services, $350 for a 90 minute massage (+gratuity) seems a bit steep even for Vegas.
We ate at a couple of the restaurants, went to the 'Showstoppers' show (Steve Wynn's best of broadway) which was entertaining (one ticket was comped). The shopping area included Rolex, Hermes, Chanel, all appeared to be empty but I guess the high rollers must keep them in business.
One tip which applies to nearly every Vegas hotel, if you are not planning to be partying until 5am, ask for a quiet room away from nightclubs, otherwise you will be up all night. The Wynne does have a nightclub that gets going around 11 and runs into the wee hours. They honored our request, no song and dance about being based on availibility, The Wynn staff is well trained and very capable.
