The best time to go to Penn Brewery is on a weeknight, so you can get seated right away and comfortably. We got a table in the main dining room and luckily not at one of the picnic style tables.
To drink - I ordered the Penn Weizen - it was delicious and I might have ordered a second .
My dad got the Penn IPA, but didn't enjoy it - so he got the Penn Gold instead.
For an appetizer- we ordered the pretzels (they come by 4 an order) so perfect for sharing. However, the last pretzel was under cooked. We reported it to our waitress (and fortunately the manager was able to take of the pretzels on our bill).
For dinner - I ordered the pretzel crusted cod sandwich with a side of fries. The sandwich was on a Breadworks roll. I enjoyed it very much and may have eaten it all. I would definitely get it again.
Heads up - trivia starts at 8pm on Monday's, but they play in the downstairs beer hall.
