  • I used Blue Ridge all last summer (2013) and was surprised at how well the treatments kept the mosquitoes away. I was skeptical at first, wondering if treating the yard would do anything. But the mosquitoes were so bad that I couldn't go out and enjoy the nice weather in my own yard so I thought, why not give it a shot? Well Dave came, treated my yard (which is prime for mosquito breeding btw) and all the mosquitoes were gone. Therefore I had him come back all summer. I plan in using him again this summer too. I have 2 kids and a dog, and I am not worried about them being in the yard after a treatment. The 'chemical' is supposedly derived from plants that naturally repel mosquitoes and is safe once dry. Drying time is only 15 minutes or so. Finally, each treatment is pretty affordable and Dave shows up in a very timely manner. He's also very easy to get a hold of. It really is worth it!!
