  • This review is specifically for the iMax theater (the one for which you are being overcharged). Digital iMax technology is pointless at this point. The technology has a maximum perceived resolution of 2.9K, compared to traditional IMAX 70mm projection, which has a resolution closer to 12K. Regular digital movies are filmed/projected at 4K. What is the point in watching a movie on a bigger screen if the resolution is the same/lower as regular projector, and if the projector TOTAL luminance is also about the same? Poor resolution, and low contrast.
