The food is really not bad. In fact, it's pretty good. We went for my husband's birthday dinner, mostly without expectations. Although it is in a pretty building in an up-and-coming area, it does not wow with its decor. The staff were attentive. The appetizers were tasty, not amazing. We picked a scallop app and a butternut squash soup. Both were decently well cooked with nothing notable. I have had similarly tasty soups at Panera. The duck entree we shared was a bit overcooked to medium, not rare as we'd requested. Nothing was terrible, everything was enjoyable and tasty, but the food lacked the finesse that I'd expect at this price range. Sadly, I think I could have cooked a better birthday dinner at home, probably for half of the price. I'm not opposed to returning with a Groupon were it ever offered, but I won't be back at full price.
