The reason I'm giving this rating a 2 is from how completely disorganized this leasing office is. They can't even handle the basic function of sending a check with the correct amount I should be paying for utilities. Not to mention, when I initially signed the lease, they kept loosing documents I had signed on not just one, but MULTIPLE occasions and would call me non-stop about how I had not signed those forms. After reminding them several times that I did sign the forms, they would still continue to call until I went into the leasing office directly and had them physically look for all the papers I had signed. It literally took them 30 minutes to finally find the pieces of paper I had signed months before (shouldn't they have some file cabinet for that?!) This is very concerning considering that their main job is to keep track of papers and send out checks with rent and utilities. When I asked them for an official receipt, they gave me all this BS about how they couldn't do that. This is completely unacceptable behavior. I blame it mostly on the fact that they hired too many lazy college kids who think they're entitled to some type of special treatment and wont go out of their way to do something that they may not get paid for (even though asking for a receipt shouldn't even be a big deal!)
On the other hand, the apartment itself is nice and the maintenance man couldn't be any better! He always says hi to me every morning on my way to school and he will fix an issue with the apartment immediately and effectively. He also does a great job of keeping the apartment complex in order so props to him! He, unlike all the other employees for campustown rentals, actually goes out of his way to do a good job b/c to him its clear that its the residents' happiness that matters. He even offered to fix up a bike for my roommate which is something he didn't even have to offer in the first place!
