| - Spanking new facility and staff. It's just like the Eastern location but much larger with more fitness studios. They have classes that range from hot yoga, hot pilates, hot barre, kettlebells, aerials, to Pilates reformer. Some teachers are new and need a little more training but that's bound to happen with any new studio. I've only taken the hot Pilates classes so far and it's been absolutely wonderful. You do cardio, weights, and resistance band training in a room that is 96 degrees with 40% humidity. You will come out drenched in sweat. You will get a good workout guaranteed as long as you push yourself.
To the new hot Pilates teachers: please demonstrate what exercises you want us to do specifically during the round of cardio exercises. Saying it in your microphone with the music overpowering your voice will not help us especially for the newbies taking the class. Another tip is to actually do the exercises with us and serve as an example for us. I've taken two classes with different teachers where they sit there and count while the rest of us are breaking a sweat. I understand that there are times when you will walk around to check on peoples form, but when you're on the mat at the front of the class, we are looking up to you as an example. We shouldn't be looking to the people next to us for some guidance.
Another tip would be to add another garbage can in the ladies locker room. There is only one garbage located in the entire locker room. Very inconvenient when you have several girls washing their hands, blow drying their hair, and putting on makeup and you're squeezing by them to throw a paper towel away.
