A truly pleasant surprise considering when you enter Grand Lux in Yelp it comes up with the option to find "closest locations." The Palazzo was closest casino to our hotel so we gave in and ate here after giving up trying to find the Canyon Ranch Grill. Despite the 5 - 6 minute wait to get a table, the stock tables and aging decor led us to grimly await a pretty mediocre experience...
Not so. We visited during shift change but both our waiters were friendly and attentive. They placed us right by the fence that separates the dining room from the casino so we could people watch.
We ordered the Protein Breakfast for a brow raising $13.95 and a Southwest Omelette. I couldn't touch the omelette because it had sour cream on top and inside but the egg white and chicken were great for something so plain. We split the hash browns which were absolutely perfect and I shared my tomatoes and asparagus.
Just over $30 with tip for breakfast which seems to be the Vegas average for a meal. Those cheap Vegas getaways are gone for good. I give a speech about this, but I won't. :)
