First stop on our day-after-Christmas brew tour was Lenny Boy Brewing. Located in the South End in an industrial area, the location can be hard to find it you don't look hard or plug it into your GPS. It's a very small brewery but packs a mean punch! They had 2 cozy leather chairs, a bar to seat 6ish, and 8 or so tables to enjoy bevvies at.... and it's dog friendly!
I read that they're very well known for their kombucha, but I was on a mission for craft beer, and they definitely delivered. I loved their stout - it was full of malty goodness & had a wonderful robust finish. Their IPA was quite good too- lots of citrusy west coast hops. They had 6-8 beers on tap and 5 kombuchas too. The mint sounded great but I didn't wanna get too full :) they have a free popcorn maker for your munchies, and I hear they have food trucks on the weekends but we must have been too early for that.
All in all, Lenny Boy is a cozy small brewery with a lot of potential- I enjoyed the beer & atmosphere- and so did our dog Oliver :)
