This place is average for me. Not bad, but not good. The food is fine. Nothing stands out, but nothing tastes bad either. I've been here twice and been underwhelmed each time. This last time, I ordered the steak tacos and the strawberry chopped salad. Both were good, although the steak tacos were fairly small and left me wanting more. Moreover, for the prices that I paid, I was hoping for better. I feel like I could have gotten the same or similar items at other restaurants that would have tasted much better and/or been less expensive.
If I was a vegetarian, vegan, or looking for gluten free items, then I am sure I would love True Food Kitchen. As just a regular guy looking for a good night's dinner on a Saturday night, this restaurant fell short and was just "meh".
