I finally went to Arsenal Cider House last night. I have been drinking Arsenal around the city for years so was excited to finally go!
I got the plum cider, perfect if you don't like it too sweet. The prices are steep for a small amount of cider, but the alcohol content is higher and of course, it's all very delicious so I suppose that's worth it.
It was 6 on a Thursday evening, and the garden seating was all taken. It was pretty aggravating actually because there are six 12-top tables out back, that are square with benches as seating. If you are going with only two or three in your group, it's awkward. Half of the tables were taken by couples, but because the tables are square and not community style (long tables), you really can't share a table with strangers. Very wasteful. Put some bistro tables in the back and it would be ideal! The space out there is very nice and secluded. We ended up sitting at a standalone bench and chugged our ciders, so that we could walk down to Butler Street and drink Arsenal Cider at a bar with better seating.
