My new fav in LV. Much better than my go to standard the Four Seasons in terms of understated modern lux. The hallways are a tad too oriental in decor, but otherwise the hotel public spaces, spa and room are un-traditionally modern for this brand.
Corner room overlooking the strip and Crystals Mall was breath taking. The two layer of electronic drapes opened automatically the first time we walked into the room to reveal the amazing view outside. There is a whole wall of glass, even the WC had it's own floor to ceiling glass and electronically controlled shades.
The pool is a bit bland compared to other properties and some attendants aren't well trained yet. On the plus side, even when crowded it doesn't get more than 50 people at the most. The drinks are pricey, but am a light drinker so it's not too bad.
If you want a little more peace, request the smoking pool, it has a plunge pool thus effectively curtailing the presence of toddlers from this area.
If you are looking for a real lux property this is the new standard in LV, forget about the properties that appeal to Middle America's version of "luxury" Best part? my room was slightly more expensive than at Encore.
Its worth every penny.
