  • DO NOT CALL THIS CON ARTIST!!! We had the owner come out to our home to evaluate an issue with our AC not blowing cold. He diagnosed the problem in minutes as needing a new capacitor and installed a new one in under 15 minutes. Then he asked for $300 for the repair. When we asked for a breakdown in cost he told us the part was $80 and the rest was the install/service fee. We told him to just remove the part and we'd find a more fair price elsewhere. He then charged a $17.95 service fee and $60 for the less than hour of time he had spent trying to rip us off. So clearly he feels his time is worth $60/hr which is fair for a licensed professional but if you add $80 for the part, $17.95 for the service fee and $60 for the hour of time you don't get $300! Plus the $300 was with the supposed $50 off coupon he advertised online!!! We called around and got several quotes over the phone for a capacitor and installation on a weekend for half of what he wanted with the same 5-year guarantee he was touting as the value in his service. Ultimately the next day we purchased the part at a local vendor in town (on a Saturday morning) for $50 total and installed it ourselves in 15 minutes. Works great! No need to be ripped off to stay cool in AZ. I guess when you live in a nice home in Arrowhead Ranch, it's an open invitation for unethical companies to try to gouge you when the heat wave begins. Don't be a victim! There are better alternatives out there!
