Just as a background, I would like to explain how I came upon this studio. I bought somethign called Passport to Prana; it enables me to try 30 yoga studios in Toronto and the GTA. I get one free class per studio.
The Good:
- location; right on yonge and college so very very accessible (right above Starbucks and across from Winners College Park)
- the building is really old and historic so even as you walk in, you get a really cool vibe
- the actual room where the classes are held is soooooo nice! it fits with the historical aspect of the building; it is open, huge and the ceilings are so vast and because of this, there is a more than likely chance that you will get a spot
- they have yoga blocks, straps and pillows available in case you want to use props
The Bad:
- again, like many toronto studios, the change room is very very tiny!!! there are no lockers to keep your stuff in and in between two classes, it gets doubly packed.
- the hallway for the shoes is also really small
**as for the actual class, it was really good! The teacher was engaging and her voice was zen like so it created a calming environment in the midst of downtown
