| - I'm going to separate this review into 2 parts: the sales process and the installation process. Unfortunately they were very different.
The installation process was excellent! Tre King and Tito were incredible. They worked incredibly hard and when they hit a buried footer that none of us knew about, they didn't complain but just did whatever it took to get the job done. It was truly a job from hell for them with how long it took to jackhammer through to set the alumawood patio cover. They were friendly, knowledgeable and professional at all times. I very highly recommend both of them!
The sales process however was not as smooth. Like others have mentioned, it felt very gimmicky with the "20-25% off", but unfortunately I fell for it, so apparently it is working for them. While I hate that gimmick, when I looked for other competitors for what we wanted to do, most were mom and pop shops. We eventually ended up settling on a price after more sales pet peeves ("This is the lowest I can go" "I don't set the price, I just look at the book and it tells me" "I have no control over this." etc... it's all VERY used car sales-like).
When we tried to set up our installation, we were vehemently told that we MUST be at home through the entire installation process. This would require us to take 2 days of vacation from work because they don't install on weekends. That is absolutely ridiculous!! I stayed the first day and literally had nothing needed from me so after wasting 3 hours of my day, I went to work. The next day was exactly the same. There is no reason whatsoever that I would need to be there when the work being done was a detached structure with outside access for the workers.
In the end, the product looks very nice. If it stands the test of time in the Phoenix heat, it will be well worth it. And the installers I can't recommend highly enough. But, I hope this company listens to customer feedback and changes some of their sales approaches/tactics and "policies" that owners must be there for no reason.
