I went to the Sears Auto Center today, Sat. afternoon about 4pm, to get a new car battery. The bays were mostly empty. I counted at least 6 employees in Auto Care uniforms in the bays or inside counter area. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Except for one GIANT problem: they were all so SLOW. There were only 1 or 2 other customers and it took them at least 45 minutes to check my battery and replace it. One other small complaint was they were a bit sloppy in their follow-through. They checked my battery and started installing a new one without asking me if i wanted the work done. Sure, I did, but you never assume, you ALWAYS ask the customer before doing work on their car. There was only 1 battery that would work for my car, so that is why they assumed, no doubt, but still, this is just sloppy. The SLOWNESS was a much more major problem. I'd give 1 star except they were all friendly.
