| - Tourist trap and too many god damn lookie-loos who watched The Hangover.
What does that mean? Way too much foot/car traffic for a spot where people come to gawk and not spend money, so if you want to gamble, go elsewhere, the rooms are fine but don't fall for the "upgrade" trap. I usually get a room in the Augustus or Octavius tower, got "downgraded" to a tower room which had issues. 3AM calls from engineering asking about leaks in the middle of the night, clogged toilets, and a facilities guy stating they shouldn't' be even giving out rooms on our floor because of ongoing renovations/problems.
Parking/Traffic is a nightmare. It's manageable if you know how to come in the back way via Jay Sarno, then you can park on the side lot and come in via the food court.
Main Entrance traffic is so bad it can take an hour to get through that mess. At least they prioritize hotel guests for valet parking, they didn't do that for a while and even though you were a guest you weren't guaranteed parking! Nuts.
In house restaurants are fine, but during prime time the line ups are super long unless you are a Rewards Diamond member or above.
The shopping plaza attached to the casino is pretty nice, with several nice restaurants and stores.
Location overall is pretty good. There's a Ceasars properties shuttle bus nearby at the Bally's casino so you can get a free bus trip to other area casinos [Ceasars, Rio, Ballys/Paris, Harrahs and one other I *think*]
