A friend invited me to have dinner at Mimi's and I was really excited when I looked the menu. I wish I wouldn't have had such high expectations because I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the Fillet of "Soul" with fresh vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were well-seasoned but the fish was not and the vegetables were nothing spectacular. I have since been back a couple of times and sampled the Chicken Tostada Salad and the Honey Dijon Salmon. All the dishes I have tried have been average. It's a decent place to go for a relatively inexpensive meal but its very similar to a T.G.I. Fridays or Applebees.
