  • We checked out Diese Onze on a rainy Monday when all MontrĂ©al seemed asleep. It was an excellent choice! Though the signage was poor and the place seemed closed from the outside, inside was warm and inviting. The drinks were great and the servers helpful and kind. All of that said, the music was better than we could have ever hoped for. Monday was Cubano Jazz night, and the experience was one I will not soon forget. The bands--the first was so good we stayed for the second--had people dancing in the aisles. Both incredible salsa dancers and you're average Joe's we're loving to the music. The bar is intimate enough that you feel like the music is just for you, but ample enough that we didn't feel crowded. Overall, this was the best jazz club I've experienced.
