Great lunch-good food, good beer, and good place to watch a soccer game.
I came here to watch a Liverpool game and grab some lunch while in town for business. The tavern was recommended to me by some friends on a Liverpool supporter website, The Liverpool Offside. Conveniently, I was staying at the Sheraton and their shuttle stops there as well.
The place is not very large, but the atmosphere was nice. It has a lot of dark wood and a good "tavern/pub" feel. The staff was friendly. I ordered a cup of the beef chili. I liked it. For lunch I had the turkey reuben (just called the turkey on the menu). I thought it was excellent. The homemade chips were also very good. I also had a couple of their craft beers. Their selection was excellent and the bartender was very helpful in directing me to a good local brew I couldn't get back home. I also noticed a large selection of Belgian style beers.
Basically, this restaurant was excellent on the food side. The menu is not huge, but, in full disclosure, I prefer shorter menus. As for the beer, this place was also excellent. If you are into premium beers you will enjoy it here. Atmosphere and service were also excellent. Everyone I encountered was friendly and laid back without ever failing to be professional or doing a poor job.
