Review #125 - 2017
After hearing some pretty good things about this buffet, I was quite excited to hear when my cousin told me that he was planning to have his 50th birthday dinner here.
He's a Diamond card holder, whatever that means...but all I knew was I didn't have to wait in line when I showed up because he already made reservation for a party of 20+ in the back of the restaurant.
The place is huge so they have a very wide selection, ranging from seafood to prime rib to Japanese to Italian. The only downside is that when there's too many selections and they're all just ok, it gets kind of disappointing. I always believed in quality over quantity.
Honestly, nothing actually stood out to me. I'm always one to take lots of pictures of food, but I took one look and said, "I don't see anything that I'd actually come back for." The only item that was even worth going back for seconds was the prime rib and the guy serving it was really stingy. He cut such a small portion for each person that even the old man ahead of me asked him why he gave him such a small piece.
For $49.99 a person, I'd say skip it! I wish we'd gone to the Bellagio buffet instead.
