A co-worker pointed out Weiner World during a lunch walk as a well known and established eatery in PgH. Sure, why not, I am a hot dog fan (especially with good, hot chili on top). I proceeded with a combo meal for lunch namely 2 dogs (kielbasa and beef) with drink for about $9.
I walked outside about 3 blocks away and started munching away. The chili was not quite lukewarm but since I walked about 5 mins, thought that may be normal for food to cool slightly. The issue was that the hot dog itself was not hot at all and tasted like it was taken straight out of a fridge and not fully heated to the proper internal temperature as it was still cold. I discarded the rest of the food. As suspected, I felt like crap hours later and the rest of the night.
I then recalled seeing those dogs on the grill but it none were steaming hot and sitting out cool in rows as they put them in buns. I seriously doubt that they even temped these weiners before serving.
