| - First, let me start by saying I'm a Drybar junkie. I'm from AZ, and this experience won't stop me from going to my regular Drybar's.
I wanted to check out the Vegas location because I've heard great things. Not the case, and I cannot understand for the life of me why they chose Planet Hollywood as a location. I know it's Vegas, but the whole mall just feels dirty. The Drybar bathrooms actually are. The pictures were crooked, the trash can was overflowing, there was no soap, and the last thing I want to see is tampon wrappers all over the place. The floor? We won't even talk about that. Disgusting, and I have 2 boys.
The front desk staff was rude for the most part. One girl with purple hair sat on her phone while people were actually trying to check in and out. In fact, there was a line, it started to become quite crowded at the front, and she decided texting was more important than opening another computer and helping people. One guy, and I didn't catch his name, was nice and he was honestly the only part I enjoyed as I checked out.
There's a DJ and a bar, which is cool and something you don't get at other locations. I was there for more than an hour total, my stylist was just ok. It wasn't anything special. I was never offered a drink or asked if I needed anything. The experience just wasn't what I expected and it's more expensive than other locations. I get it, it's Vegas. It's fast paced (or supposed to be) and fun and upbeat. To me it wasn't any of those things. I won't be making this a stop on any future Vegas trips. Save your money, or better yet, hit up your hotel salon. I'm willing to bet (no pun!) the experience is way better.
