| - This was my second time to the Sparklings. I see the manager Andy, apologizing for all the other bad comments but obviously not DOING anything to make it better. We were talking in the car on the way home that the Food is AWESOME, the prices are GREAT, but the Slooooow and RUDE service makes it almost unbearable. The restaurant was not even full and it was like pulling teeth to get service. I finally yelled out "SERVICE" across the room. and the rude waitress, Susan, who had been ignoring us all night, looked my way and flipped her head and walked the other way. If this place could delivery snappy fast drinks and pleasant service they would have a line out the door and not always be half empty.
Normal wait staff pleasantries were non existent, even from the gal who tried to help our disappearing waitress, like bringing salt, a glass, a plate, taking away dirty plates, fixing a drink, delivering food and drinks in a timely fashion, making sure everyone got their food at the same time. We were not expecting anything exceptional in service, just normal things when you go to a decent restaurant.
It's Sooooo sad and disappointing to see good potential RUINED by staff who could care less about the guest experience. On the good side, every bite of food I've had there is very good. Langostina bruschetta, caprese salad, chicken marsala, ceviche, gnocchi, scallops and more. With the groups I've taken there, we have tasted all that and more, and its all good. The drinks are excellent too, the Voodoo, the Chandelier..... BUT slow drinks, rude service, DIRTY bathrooms, HOT dining room, and people who just don't care will make me think twice about going again. Please please please fix your problems and hire people who give a shit, and are knowledgeable and pleasant and get rid of that B Susan who is driving your customers away, so we can come back again. and please, CLEAN the bathroom, like REALLY clean it. Such a beautiful restaurant and such a dank and gross ladies room. Sad.
