You know, the D-Box really is the only redeeming factor about my experience in this theater. During the entirety of Captain America yesterday, the "gentleman" one row in in front and a couple of seats to the right of my party was on his phone. Not for a minute here or there, no, this guy was watching videos on his social media. And even though my party loudly protested this, neither the gentleman nor the ushers did a thing to stop this. Added to the fact that the party behind us had a pair of children that not only talked through the first half of the movie, but they also managed to douse everyone in the rows in front of them when one of the kids dropped or threw a beverage. So not only did I have an irritating light like a shard of glass digging into my eye through the entirety of the movie due to the failure of the staff to put a stop to the guest's phone usage (seriously, I don't even think he was watching the movie), but I was also soaked for the second half of the film.
Thankfully, by the time the next round of blockbusters comes out Southpoint should have added the technology to their auditoriums, because this location does not inspire me to drive across town to repeat such a negative experience.
