  • I moved down to the south side of Charlotte a year ago. I was looking for a new dentist and got turned away from a few full clinics. My coworker recommended Southlake because it's been her dentist for many years and I can see why. My experiences here have been the absolute best. I had my old dentist forward over my dental records and it all went smoothly. I don't have any dental issues (thank god) to complain about coming over to this new clinic. So really my experience has been for the 6 month cleanings so far. They have 7:20 AM slots open on some weekdays which means I can get into work usually right after 8:00 AM and not have to make up much time. On my most recent visit I had some chips in my front tooth that got repaired (just like a previous reviewer). Had a run-in with a fork and...well I lost. Dr. Sloan did a quick epoxy patch on the cracks and it's really amazing. You can't tell there was ever a problem. He finished this up in less than 30 minutes. Out the door it was about $55. Of course the biannual check-ups are covered by my insurance so no expense there. The waiting room here is super cozy with some leather chairs that practically eat you alive when you sit in them. There's a TV in the waiting room and one in each exam room where the hygienist will quickly offer you a remote to put on whatever you want. (Usually I just want to turn it off, haha!) As you can imagine this will be my new long term dentist of choice!
