This review is not in reference to this store (just happens to be closest one to me) or the people that work there. Nor is it because of a bad experience with CenturyLink on the phone. Both the store workers and phone personnel were knowledgeable, polite, and had a genuine desire to help. The one star (1/2 star if possible) is for CenturyLink's product. The Internet service is lacking and is not worth the money you pay even for the slowest speed. The worst part is the TV/cable service. We are on our second box. This box also constantly loses the signal and we have to unplug and reset almost every other day. The guide interface is atrocious and completely cumbersome. Most of the time the remote will not talk to the box even after multiple battery replacements. Furthermore, your bill will mysteriously increase with no explanation from the company. It is infuriating. My advice would be to go with Cox. At least the cable box is better, it has a better guide interface, and the internet speeds are pretty much caught up with the current technology.
