Let me preface my review by saying I will be returning to Pinky's to try different food next time. Not a ton of parking available but I was able to snag a spot around 5:30 in a Friday afternoon. It wasn't crowded when I arrived but packed when I left an hour and a half later. I was quickly seated at a booth near the front. It was $3 craft beer roulette. So they "randomly" select a craft beer for you and bring it to the table for $3. Sadly both of mine were IPAs which are not my favorite but it was a good way to try different beers. I started with the pimento cheese fries, side order portion, which were delicious. I added a little bit of ranch but they didn't really need it. Tastes like homemade pimento cheese and came out melted in layers on the waffle fries. You can also add bacon or chili but I think they are amazing with just the cheese. The waitress recommended trying the flounder sandwich special, so I did. It was nothing special which is why I'm giving Pinky's 3 stars for today's visit. The bun was hard and cold. The flounder was coated in dill seasoning. It just wasn't very good. You can see how un appetizing it looks in the photos. I've heard good things about their Korean tacos and will probably give them a try next time.
The service was great though. Water was always full and the wait staff was very attentive. I will be back to try it out again!
