We drove 40 minutes to try this place because it was recommend to me by a VIetnamese friend. The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the place has a run down appearance. The food was awesome. We were greeted as soon as we entered and provided with menus. The menu is pretty expansive so it took a few minutes to read through it. I ordered BANH HOI TOM THIT NEM NUONG (Thin vermicelli patties with charbroiled shrimp, pork and meatball) - my husband ordered BUN GA CHA GIO TOM (Chicken, shrimp, egg roll vermicelli). The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I took one bite of the pork and said "wow, this is great". Everything was delicious and flavorful. We cleaned our plates. We also ordered hot tea which was served not in tea cups but in heavy glasses which seemed strange but it too was good. Our total bill was $23.90. The restaurant is small, not visually appealing, but in a good location at the entrance of Mekong Market. So while you eat you can people watch. They had one restroom that also appeared to serve as a storage closet and didn't seem particularly clean. I was sort of worried that the table might not be very clean, but I'd go there again because the meal was that good.
