  • When I first saw Courtney Village online, it looked beautiful. While the apartments themselves are great, the staff is the worst that I have ever experienced. For starters, Cassandra takes the number one spot for who's the worst in the office. Cassandra is extremely rude, uncaring, and does not have the knowledge that it takes to work in the leasing office. Cassandra lost a package for our unit for two weeks. It took another staff member going into their package room to find it. When we first went to the leasing office to finish our paper work and move in initially, Cassandra lost our lease and had to reprint a copy while we awkwardly sat there after our appointment had passed. When going in to give our notice that we would not be renewing our lease, we had an issue with the time frame and instead of providing some insight as to why we couldn't resolve the issue, Cassandra just repeated herself over and over regardless of the fact that we weren't asking the same question. We requested to speak to a supervisor and they gave us the same answer. This community will not work with you on anything. Maintenance was a nightmare. I had to put in the same request three times and even then they never showed up. I started to just fix the issues on my own rather than wait around for someone that was never going to show up. The south pool was always closed for one reason or another. The mail boxes were falling apart. Gunshots are a usual thing for the area. If you can get past all of these issues, the kitchens are nice. The apartment is extremely large and nice when things aren't broken. The neighbors are great and there is an abundance of dogs which was great for us. The rent we were told was definitely not the price we ended up paying. It was $100 more than what we were told at the beginning. Valet trash is $20 a month plus re-bill fees and tax of course. APS is a nightmare. You will pay $300 or more per month. If you can get an apartment on the side with SRP, do it. Your life will be so much better. If you can, avoid Cassandra at all cost. Also don't expect them to answer the phone. If you need help, just go to the office when you can because they never answer regardless of what button you push. Don't leave a voicemail because they won't call you back either. They will raise your already expensive rent by at least $100 at the end of your contract. Just don't waste your time. I've heard bad things about Greystar but this is definitely an experience I will never forget.
