| - I LOVE Bardot Brasserie :)
I have literally been 5 times in the past 6 months, and really enjoy it even more, every time I go. The service is on point, the food quality is FANTASTIC, and I have not ever had anything but great times when dining there. In my experience, it's one of the more understated Michael Mina restaurants, but it is most definitely one of my favorites. I have frequented many others in Las Vegas and San Francisco and this is easily top 5 on my list.
Additionally, Bardot has a really elegant bar overflowing with tempting libations. All of your classic favorites are available, and a few that may be new for you to check out - My recent favorite has been the MAN ABOUT TOWN: it's Rittenhouse rye, rooibos infused campari, and carpano antica sweet vermouth.. it's so elegant and satisfying. If that's not your thing, they have a mean wine list, ready to pair with your dining experience.
On the dinner menu - Like so many others have said, I cannot get away from the FOIE GRAS PARFAIT. It's so good, so decadent, so 'just right'. It is literally one of my favorite things on any menu in Las Vegas. So simple and delicious. It makes me happy every time I get a chance to enjoy it. I have also sampled their selection of very fresh OYSTERS, the crispy and elegant ESCARGOTS BARDOT, their KING CRAB CRÊPE, and their excellent WARM BEETS & CARAMELIZED GOAT CHEESE salad. Most recently, the classic style PÂTÉ de CAMPAGNE made it's way to our table, and was absolutely perfect. I am a fan for sure.
On one particular visit, my whole meal consisted of just starters and dessert and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Las Vegas!
For the main course, the LAMB RACK "FRITES" is probably my favorite dish. It's designed to be shared for two and is a really beautiful and classic presentation of rack of lamb. As well, I have loved the OAK-SMOKED DUROC PORK CHOP, but one of my all-time favorites is a well prepared LOUP DE MER. Also known as a Mediterranean sea bass, Bardot prepares theirs grilled, with caramelized lemon, fennel, and steamed potatoes. Too right! In every case.. every meal.. perfect.
Needless to say, if you ever have the opportunity to give Bardot Brasserie a chance.. please do. I haven't even touched on their amazing desserts and after dinner embellishments. This is a place to be savored and enjoyed. Check it out.
Happy Eating!
