I went in last week for a long lasting sore throat to see if I had strep. It was about an hour before closing and there was only one other person inside. Dr. Black ran the test, then talked to me for about 1/2 hour, re: my extensive and complicated medical issues (kidney transplant, adrenal insufficiency, and factor V leiden.) He suggested I get a Primary Care Physician, which I've never had because I see so many specialists. We discussed the importance of a PCP and he made some good suggestions. I really appreciate him taking time to talk to me, and also for being so honest. It's rare to find a doctor that actually spends more than a minute or two with a patient. PS: I also didn't have strep, so it was all good. =)
