So much to do in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. If you are a hiker there is a plethora of trails to peruse. CVNP has added a couple of back country campsites so you can backpack as well. Part of the Buckeye trail runs through the area. It is well maintained and blazed. Enjoyably challenging terrain gives you an interesting experience without being too dangerous or difficult for novices. The Towpath runs nearby in Peninsula where there are several local establishments to quench your thirst or slake your hunger. This paved path is a popular bikers day trip.
Brandy wine Falls is a popular day trip with scenic views and some great photo ops along the way. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad also runs through here. They offer many events throughout the year including Polar Express trips at holiday time, bike and rail combo day trips, Ale on Rails and wine tastings are frequent and popular events as well
