One of the first restaurants I went to in this town many years ago. So my review is skewed towards nostalgia. But the food actually is incredibly good. Most everything tastes like it's freshly made, including (I hope?) the fries. The beers are great, too. Pick any of the sandwiches and you will be pleased. The Reuben is a personal favorite. Ambiance is casual and comfortable. Service is friendly and attentive. Outdoor seating in the warmer months is a nice plus--particularly in contrast to busier versions across town in Champaign.
