A friend suggested I try this place since it's a really affordable price and it had nice rooms. Looks like only if you picked the right rooms which are the renovated ones that are SELECT, and not get the north tower with their non-renovated rooms. The rooms here are still old style motel with the clicking flickering light that groans and turns on. The indoor air that is too hot or too cold no matter what you set it too. The rooms feel pretty clean which is its redeeming factor. The view is terrible.
Checking-in wasn't that bad of a line but it their computer system went down and everyone was doing everything by hand and making photocopies of everything. And all the rooms were now pre-assigned. Not cool.
Thankfully got a non-smoking room and not assigned accidentally a smoking room.
Parking lot is pretty dirty. The nice thing is the parking is Free which I thought was strange that it was now listed as an amenity but that's because most of the other hotels now have paid parking!! What kind of insanity is that?! It started Dec 2016 apparently and now after decades of free parking at all the strip hotels, there is now an unheard of paid parking being implemented!
The hallways smell and the room smells. Really felt like gagging when entering the hallways. Yuck.
