  • The hub is primarily a bouldering (rope-less climbing on short walls that can be done alone) with some top-rope routes (roped climbing on taller walls requiring a partner). There is no lead climbing here as the walls are too short. With that said, I have tried both and can say without a doubt that the bouldering is what you should be doing as that is what this gym excels at. There are a good variety of different bouldering wall types from slab, to vertical, to overhangs and roof climbs (there are 2 roots, one short and one slightly higher). I really like the "down-climb" holds that are spread out throughout the gym, for use if you aren't able to down-climb and aren't comfortable jumping down from the top. Day passes are pricey, about $20, and require you to sign a waiver and go through a quick orientation (if bouldering) and/or belay test (if top-roping) if it's your first time. However, you can get a 10-pass that is slightly discounted (about $17/pass) and can be shared by more than one person. The staff are super friendly and ready to provide route recommendations or advice on how to climb a route if you ask. The (girls) change room is clean and there are lots of lockers that can be used either inside or outside by the front desk. Slippers are mandatory but if you forget them there are free ones available at the front. Yoga is offered at various times throughout the week. I attended the yoga for climbers class last week and found it was useful for practicing balancing poses and stretching. The poses and stretches are suitable for all levels, whether you're new to yoga or have been doing it for years. I wouldn't come here just for the yoga however it comes free with a day pass so I think it's valuable if you happen to be there and catch it. Free yoga mats that are clean and looked relatively new (as of this writing) are provided. Parking can be tricky during busy hours, which are usually weekday evenings after 6pm. Weekends I haven't had any trouble finding parking close to the entrance. I should also mention they have a fancy, light up moon board. A must if you're at that level! I sadly, am not :(
