  • I was lookin' like a scarecrow. Sad faded highlights... crunchy dry lifeless hair... and roots showing like I'd been in prison for months. I feel a song comin' on or like I should have BB King playing background while I sing this sad Rhythm and Blues hair jam. I needed a serious refined "Swan" makeover by a salon that uses upscale products, had an excellent track record and offered a hair dresser that would show compassion, had a good ear and most important...deliver without excuses. I found all of that and more at the LifeSpa Salon by Michael Boychuck. Once I perused my Pinterest Board and found a hair color I liked I showed it to my hairdresser and honestly I really didn't expect much since I have been so disappointed with other Vegas salons, but people I can't stop touching my hair-it actually feels like hair again! It went from an ugly swamp colored yellow strand of straw to a gorgeous sweet soft milk chocolate hue. And, a haircut that straightened out my feeble attempt to "trim" my ends which ended up looking like I blind folded myself before cutting! My hair looks amazing! Finally, for once, someone got it right. I walked out feeling like a movie star. Speaking of movies stars...The cool factor was that this salon was previously located inside the Palms Hotel and if you're a celeb whore you'll appreciate the Wall of Fame located by the wash station that's adorned by autograph pics of the countless beauty queens, celebrities, rock stars and movie stars who have all trusted their locks to this salon. Adrienne Maloof was a frequent client when they were located at the Palms...and my hairdresser did her hair too. Conveniently located inside the Lifetime Fitness Center. A host of services available and hair products to keep your hair looking fabulous. They cut kids hair too. Don't be intimidated, the receptionist is super friendly and helpful! Stop driving to California to see "your hairdresser"! Come here if you're still looking for that special someone to trust with your most valuable asset.
