  • I was excited when I heard a new Mediterranean Restaurant opened near ASU. Haven't tried Ys Restaurant up the road yet, but I decided I'd give The Halal Guys a try. The interior is pretty clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. I ordered the gyro and falafel combo. I really enjoyed the texture and flavor of the falafel, bread, and rice. I know to order a drink next time because, after enjoying those tastes, I nearly choked on falafel. I only docked one star because my gyro wasn't wrapped. I docked another star for the high pricing. Otherwise, I think this is worth another try.
