| - Once a year, my mom and I embark on an annual haircut. We actually find really good places to go, I cannot recall ever getting a bad haircut. But, by the time I realize that I desperately need a new hair cut, I can't remember where we last went or whom we last saw.
This time around we went to Moments Salon since 1) a friend recommended it, 2) it was close, 3) it is next to AJs. Nothing beats a good haircut except for a good haircut paired with cheese and wine (or lunch with someone else picking up the tab ;)
Anyway, Moments was packed! But we only had to wait a few minutes until we were both called back for our appointment. During those few minutes, we were offered water and lemonade. I was thirsty, so I liked this.
Unfortunately, I learned why I cannot ever recall my last hair stylist - apparently, I am very bad at keeping their cards. My stylist was great, yet its only one day later and I am already missing her card. They are closed on Sundays (if I remember to call, I will update this review). I didn't go to the salon with a clear image of what I wanted (I just knew I wanted it chopped off), but the stylist did a very good job at creating something based off of my minimal instruction. My mother also looked lovely - her stylist was Presley.
The salon is big (2 stories). The only downside for this particular visit was that I was unable to see my mother the entire time. It was very loud and busy although I am told that Mondays are more calm and quiet.
