Stayed here for a week in February. I know the area is not good, but where the hotel is situated, you're in a desolate area. I was super surprised when I got to my room, it was clean, no musty or yucky smells, and very spacious. Basic amenities, with no breakfast served. Although they do serve coffee 24/7 in a little room adjacent to the check-in desk. 1 star taken off for key issues. Twice, my room key wouldn't work, so I had to lug all my stuff I was carrying to the front desk and have the manager walk me to my room and try a new key. It's not your usual room key cards, it's like a little microchip looking thing. Another star taken off because there were what looked like blood stains on the bathroom floor and door, and on some of the walls.
