| - The customer service at this location (only speaking about the pharmacy department) is atrocious. Two days in a row I found myself dealing with them and wished I hadn't. The lady who was working alongside the pharmacist was so rude I was taken back.
My sons doctor had sent over an rx at about 7:30 yesterday morning, I then called at 8:09 and was told by the automated system that my rx would be ready at 8:56am. At about 8:50 I arrived at the drive up window to pick up the rx. The young lady Misti told me that they just now received my rx and that I would have to come back since they will need time to fill it, I then let her know that I know she didn't just receive it since I was told at 8:09 that it was being filled and would be ready. She then accuses me of lying saying that she and the pharmacist were the only ones there and that I had not spoken to either of them, I then informed her that I was informed of this by the automated. She blew me off and told me I will have to wait. The reason that I am writing this review is because this is a problem every single time I call or visit this location. Right now as I type this review, I am waiting on hold for a second time because after waiting for 15 minutes the first time I called, the pharmacist assistant picked up the phone and was laughing with whoever in the background and simply hangs up the phone. Now I am being forced to wait what again to call in a rx. This time I have been on hold for 17 minutes thus far, with no one picking up the phone even once this time. I can't be more displeased with the pharmacy's customer service at this location. Since I actually pass a CVS to get to this Walgreens location, I think I will be transferring all my prescriptions and those of my family to the CVS. I will also be writing reviews for this store on any forum I can find. People pay for the service you provide and your service is terrible.
P.S. I was hung up on AGAIN after waiting a total of 23 minutes with never speaking to a human once.
P.S.S. I work in a dental office and call in prescriptions for patients all the time (this is why I am on hold now), patients also ask me if I can suggest a pharmacy they should use, unfortunately I will never be able to suggest this pharmacy, and I will also suggest to my patients that use this pharmacy switch to another so they are taken care of they way they should be. (yes, I am still on hold for the 4th time now.)
