  • I visited the original down in Columbus last Fall. I remember being absolutely blown away by the wonderfully helpful staff and by the decadently rich dark chocolate ice cream I had then. And I recall, while leaving that Jeni's, "if only such a thing existed in the Cleveland area..." Well, lo and behold, now it does! Jeni's has opened a new location in the quaint town of Chagrin Falls, located right next to the legendary falls. A group of friends and I showed-up around 8pm and the line was out the door and around the block. Another friend that had been there a few times already mentioned that this was usually the case! The staff were extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable, especially in mixing and matching flavors (just like Jeni's down in C-bus). Another reason the line tends to be so long is that they are wonderful in letting you try as many flavors as you want, until you get that just-right perfect combination of 'oh-my-god.' This time, I ended up with a mash-up of Brambleberry Crisp with Goat Cheese and Blueberries. Delish! Will certainly be back, and repeatedly at that, in the coming weeks.
