It's hard to judge a comedy club because you're really there for the act. But the Comedy Spot is a fun little place to see a show. The people who perform there may not be as well known as the comedians at the Improv, but if you're into stand up comedy, you'll recognize many of the names.
The venue itself is small which actually adds to the experience. Every table is close to the stage. And on the night I was there, it spelled trouble for most of the people up front. The comics have no trouble spoting them, and they did a great job ripping into random people. Make sure you purchase your tickets in advance, because there aren't very many seats.
The two drink minimum is the norm for comedy clubs, so I can't complain. The prices aren't any worse than what you'd expect at a club. Again, the overall experience mostly depends on the act. But I would never complain about going to a show here.
