  • This isn't necessarily a review about the food which i find lacking 75% of the time... however it is fairly important. I used to live above the old basil thai on green street and an older man who worked there used to rummage through the trash dumpster for the apartment, looking for things of value and whatever else. I eventually moved (ironically above the urbana basil thai) and after the green st. location was closed, he moved to work the urbana one. Now I don't know if he's a chef or what, but yet again, I see him smoking by the dumpsters constantly and just yesterday i caught him going through my trash/recyclables that i had thrown out earlier that day. To me this is absolutely disgusting, if this man will go through these filthy dumpsters filled with all the organic trash of an entire apartment complex, subway, rosati's pizza, etc, that is just pitiful. If he's the guy making the food I don't think i could ever eat there again. There is no excuse for that behavior, not if you work in the food industry. Ugh...
