| - We wandered in on a Wednesday night, not knowing quite what to expect - but we are glad we did. Lots of quirky character inside, with just about every square inch of wall and ceiling covered with license plates, ball caps, and plenty of Texas tavern memorabilia. Fair selection of bottled beers, though none on tap. They tend to sell out of the prime rib, but I hope to give that a try next go around. Steak and mashed potatoes were both decent, but my oh my - the breaded pork chop was out of this world tender and juicy! I ordered a side of cole slaw which wasn't bad, but it definitely has onions in it, which was new to me. The service was very attentive, and the restaurant had a nice homey feel to it - not what you'd expect to find in a strip mall, but that kinda adds to the charm.
