  • Do not take your animal here if you need any kind of customer service. Here's my experience. My cat fell off the bed and looked like she hurt her hip. My friend had to drop her off there as I had to go to work. He dropped her off as soon as the vet opened. They ran a myriad of tests and believed that she had a stroke which is why she fell off the bed. I received a call that they thought she had a stroke but they were running the tests and of course to approve the $1,700 charge. I was supposed to receive a call but nothing. I was told when I called there was some sort of emergency with another animal. By 5:30, I was again being dismissed by the receptionist until I complained. Then they got the vet, I expressed my concern that they were running unnecessary tests and I had not heard anything. I felt I was being pressured to send my cat to a neurologist for an MRI. There was no explanation as to the cost and it really makes no difference to the result. Some cats recover from strokes, some do not. When I visited, she looked really terrible. There was no explanation from the vet as to the fact that likely she was looking so poor because of the medication she was on. They kept her overnight to monitor. I was supposed to receive a call from the vet in the morning and, of course, did not. When I called, they confirmed that all three vets thought she had a stroke and that I could pick her up later. When I called later and the story was the same although clearly there was no debriefing between the two vets. I was told the prognosis was poor which does not align at all with the information online. When I arrived, even though they knew I was coming, she was still on IV and I was sent away to come back in half an hour. When I got back, I had to push to get my paperwork, I had to ask for the food I brought and I had to ask for her medication. They neglected to tell me they only gave me a partial order. The vet never explained potential side effects and it was like pulling teeth to figure out what I should be concerned about while I monitored her. My +$2,000 was never explained to me and I felt like I was irritating the staff by even being there. I had a scare today where my cat returned to how she was when I got her back. I called the vet and was, of course, ignored. I will NEVER take my cat back there. After a fast internet search, I saw the appetite stimulant they gave me has a lot of side effects which explained her sudden change. I was to give her this medication every three days and she was on the mend until I administered her medication. This review will come as no surprise to the staff there since I have been very vocal about the lack of service and more importantly lack of caring. The constant complaints about the inadequate staffing and long hours make it clear that they need to properly staff this clinic. But as I told them, the fact that they are understaffed is not my problem. My problem is that my animal is being neglected.
