| - I have a love for bagels, especially Montreal bagels. Whenever I am in the city, I get dozens of bagels to take back home. If I have friends who are visiting the city, they ask me whether I'd like some bagels. Yes, please!
It is fitting that my 200th review this year be about one of my most favourite foods. This time, I drove to Montreal and snagged three dozen bagels. They freeze nicely.
My staples are the sesame and everything varieties. I decided to go with with cinnamon raisin, too. Everything comes out warm, fragrant, and delicious at this store. You get to witness how they are made while your bagels are placed in paper bags.
I have a habit of snacking on a warm bagel driving back home. They are that good that I have to tear into one. I just can't wait.
Each time I got out of my car to either grab a bite to eat or stretch at a rest stop, coming back into my car was wonderful. It smelled of fresh bagels, as if I were still at the bakery. If I could get car air fresheners that smelled like various bagel flavours from St. Viateur, I'd buy them all!
I brought some of the everything bagels into work for my team the following day. My colleagues ate them all up. They were and are so good.
The store only accepts cash. You can park on the street. It's metered parking.
