| - Miss Molly's has been a favorite destination for father/daughter special outings and special luncheons with friends. The Victorian setting is very pretty and inviting. Angel, a server we have had many times, is pleasant, positive, energetic and takes time to answer questions and provide recommendations. She is a joy to have as a server. Angel is attentive and also caring to her customers.
The food is typical tea room fare, most offerings include a side of strawberry pretzel salad, cucumber salad, broccoli salad or cranberry salad. All four sides are delicious, and you can also add on an additional side for a small cost. There is a daily special hot meal, and also a daily special flavor of scones. There is a large selection of teas.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the reservation scheduling and aloofness of the hostess. The most recent visit was last week, and they had lost our reservation. I had even called to confirm a few days previous to our visit. Another large party while we were there had the same issue. The hostess is business-like and seems at a loss when checking the reservation list. Many times we have come with a reservation (and DEFINITELY book a reservation) we have still needed to wait a considerable amount of time in line to get to the hostess stand at the entryway.
Miss Molly's Tea Room is a special destination for a special meal, but perhaps a more efficient method of taking reservations and organization would increase the number of positive reviews.
