My mother was admitted to the hospital by the emergency room doctor who said she'd need nuerosurgery and it would be preformed by Dr. Iskandar.
I immediately began researching him and didn't find one single good thing said about him. Every thing I found was negative and did not point to him being a good Dr. So I went to talk to the hospital case worker and request a change to anyone but Dr. Iskandar. She said shed get back with me. While waiting Dr Iskandar finally showed up (10 hours late) and after about a 45 minute conversation with him my mother & I both knew he'd be the perfect one! He had to be absolutely wonderful to not only change our negative opinion but to change it so drastically.
POSITIVES: he explained everything that would b done & how it would be done, he was straight up about the options & clearly explained all the possible outcomes, he never sugar coated anything but remained empathetic & caring, he answered questions, & showed complete confidence in his ability to handle the situation, he kept the family updated thru out the surgery and for the reminder of my moms stay.
NEGATIVES: he has no concept of time. he shows up when he wants and leaves when he wants. The first time meeting him he was very late and didn't seem to care enough about it to offer a reason why. The office staff is really snobby and seem bothered by patients.
All in all I would recommend Dr. Iskandar to anyone needing a great nuerosurgeon.
